Our teachers have created an extensive curriculum for each year group they teach so we can ensure your child learns all the relevant content.
We can't guarantee that the content will be taught in the exact same order, but they have built these curricula based on their years of experience, so they will definitely cover what you need to know. Please note that if you are studying a different exam board than the course being taught, the topics may vary.
Shan Science is not affiliated with any exam boards, and our courses are largely designed to apply across boards.
Our Biology, Chemistry and Physics courses are designed for AQA, Edexcel, OCR (A) Gateway Science, iGCSE Edexcel and CIE.
Yes! You will be given an email for the tutor you are booked with that you can contact regarding tutoring bookings, content misconceptions, etc.

For 1 to 1 lessons, you must send a cancellation request for the lesson at least 24 hours before the lesson time. If not, payment for the booked lesson will not be refunded.
For our holiday courses, this is not a problem. We record all our live lessons to ensure that the students never miss any content. We always recommend getting in touch with the mentor while watching a session back, too, if you'd like any extra support!

The course, which includes the lessons, workbooks, homework, and video solutions, is accessed via the Shan Science learning platform. On the platform, students will be able to find lesson links to the new lessons as well as recordings of previous ones. Unlike other tutoring, learning doesn't stop after the lesson is over!
Each student in our courses is paired with a personal mentor so they have outside lesson support. Your child can contact their mentor if they're struggling with the course or their schoolwork and receive quick and helpful answers.
